New cybersecurity rules for investment firms not so bad, say Orlando experts

Orlando experts have something to say about the new Security and Exchange Commission cybersecurity rules for investment advisers and funds that likely will be finalized in October.

The adoption of the rules was expected sooner, but the SEC reopened the comment period relevant to the rules “to allow interested persons additional time to analyze the issues,” according to an SEC news release.
